I'm Neil Broughton and I am Air Activities Adviser for Hertfordshire Scouts. My job as Air Activities Adviser is twofold - to provide assistance and advice for anyone undertaking air activities and to promote these things as part of the Scout programme.

I'm representing air activities at a county and district level from above, but if you want to take part the real pressure must come from you. If you would like to include air activities in your programme then you will have to make it happen. My role is to help with resources. For example:

• I can link you with the right people and organisations to help you with your plans.
• I can visit your group or training course and speak about the options available.
• I can supply you with information to help with air badges.
• I can assess Scouts or Explorer Scouts applying for an Air Activities badge if you do not have anyone locally with the right background.
• I can try to answer questions over the telephone or by email.
