Introduction To The Hills - 4th May - 7th May 2012
Herts Scouts and Guides aged between 10 and 14 are invited for an action packed weekend at Orchard Farm in the Peak District.
You will scale new heights whilst rock climbing, and abseil down again, you’ll feel the speed and excitement of mountain biking, marvel at the beauty of the Peaks whilst you explore them and you can also develop the skills needed to take on the challenge of orienteering. The food is pretty amazing too! All for £105.
Prior to the trip, we will hold a gathering for the Scouts and Guides together with parents/guardians to enable us to share our plans for the weekend and for you to raise any questions you may have. This has been provisionally booked for Sunday 4th March, at Templewood School in Welwyn Garden City.
