Hill Walking for Leaders

This course is run annually in October at our Snowdonia base - Coetmor Mill.? The weekend offers any adult leader or helpers an opportunity to get out in the hills in a relaxed environment and pick up some basic skills in mountaineering.? No experience is neccessary for this weekend.

We travel to Snowdonia on the Friday evening, and leave to return late Sunday afternoon arriving back in Hertfordshire around 8:00pm.

Saturday will be an opportunity to take in a high mountain route to gain some experience, and then on the Sunday we will normally go out locally to the Mill and concentrate on navigation skills.

The weekend is very flexible, and if we will tailor the objectives dependent upon the experience you have.
