Competition Blog......
Friday 10pm: Its 10pm on Friday 15th October 2010, competitors are starting to arrive at the campsite in Tebay. Located just off the M6 in the Eastern Lake District, this will be the base for the competition leading on to the fells of the Northern Howgills.

Saturday 9am: The teams woke up to a crisp but morning. Kit check went smoothly and all teams were on the hills by 8.45. Looks like a reasonable day weather wise, possibility of light showers towards the latter end of the afternoon.

Saturday 10am: Checkpoint 20 has been located by the website team!

Saturday 12 Noon: Support teams are all cosy in pubs or Cafe's around Kendal.

Saturday 4pm: The first tranche of teams have arrived back at the respective sites. Now figthing with damp tents and fiddly stoves.

Saturday 6pm: All teams are in, dinners are being scoffed, naps are being had. Marshalls, communication teams and the event team are all winding down and returning to their respective sites for a good nights rest.

Sunday 8am: Everyone is now back out on the hill for 3.5 hours of competition. The scoring is looking close at this point in all 3 categories, good luck on the final push!

Sunday 12 Noon: All teams have completed the course and are now back at Base Camp getting stuck in to hot dogs, pasties and whatever else support teams have rustled up. Feet are aching, smelly helly's abound. Most are looking forward to that shower in about 7 hours!
Sunday 2pm: Trophies have been presented, all competitors are now on their way home. Check out the results page
