What do I find there? There are about 15 glades cleared in the wood to make space for camping. Some are patrol size and others are big enough for a troop camp or larger events. Most of them have space allocated for an open fire. The main compound contains 'Stag Cottage', the toilet blocks and the site office. There is also a campfire circle that can be used by any one.
The remaining part of the woods is undeveloped and can be used to experience backwoods, bivouac or survival techniques.
