More details are available regarding the ‘Thirst for Life’ Expedition to Swaziland, Mozambique and the Kruger National Park in South Africa.  Scouts must have had their 14th birthday by 25th July 2009.  The total cost for 14 days will not exceed £1350 and the probable start/finish dates will be 29th July – 12th August 2009 depending on availability of flights to/from Johannesburg. 

The main campsite is close to the settlement of Bhalekane, about 80km north from the airport at Manzini.  Swaziland is a developing nation and the opportunities to join in and continue with a community development project involving ‘children at risk’ is significant in seeking support from your local council and other grant giving bodies.
