County Training Courses

The Celebration event will be held in the County Suite at County Hall in Hertford on Friday 20 March 2009 from 7.00pm for 7.30pm until 10.00pm.

Ivor Thomas and Michael Shurety will lead the celebrations of young people achievements and the work of our adult volunteers from across our sections in Hertfordshire. We plan to honour those young people who have gained the highest award in Scouting, volunteer leaders who gained national recognition for their work in Scouting and those who have completed their coveted "Wood Badge" training in the last year.

It will be the last countywide meeting for our retiring County Commissioner Ivor Thomas.
