The County Scout Museum is situated at the County HQ at Well End Campsite and is a great place for Scouts of any age to spend some time as part of a nights away experience, or for a day visit. It can be used a part of a project for appropriate badge work for Cub Scouts and Scouts and as a heritage or history project for Explorers etc. Group and District Fellowships will also find the Museum most interesting. Please give good notice if you would like a guided tour and what your requirements are. Weeknight visits can be accommodated if they are intended to take the place of a normal weeknight meeting. Material for the Archives is constantly arriving from all sources and more frequently Groups are asking me to take into safe keeping their Group archive material. This does not mean they no longer have access to it! The Scout Museum is not open to casual callers when the Archivist is not on site. For more details, contact Frank Brittain, County Archivist archivist@hertfordshirescouts.org.uk
