Hertfordshire Explorers About Town (HEAT) is the annual fun and silliness event organised for Explorer Scouts within Hertfordshire. Running into its 8th year now HEAT for 2010 is planned to be as spectacular as ever.
This year we are also incoporating The Sport Relief Mile, although with a slight modification. Your unit also gets to keep 25% of all sponsorship monies raised for unit funds.
What with the Credit Crunch, we have reduced the cost for all participants this year, but don't worry no reduction in fun as a result!
This years theme is Pirates.
New activities are planned along with some minor adjustments to the old favourites. Watch out for....
The Big Fat Quiz of the Year (including Gunge Tanks)
Its a Knockout (with reduced water)
The Big MEAT (Saturday night dinner)
Attack by Night (Friday night challenges)
Escape by Day (Saturday's mystery trip)
Live Band
The "About Town" part of HEAT is a magical mystery tour to a different location every year, previous locations have included Southend, Cambridge, Brighton, London and Thorpe Park, Madame Tussauds this year we are off to.....well that would ruin the mystery!
