Special Needs

Factsheet of Useful Resources

Having listened to your needs as far as children with Special Needs and disability are concerned, it was decided to put together a list of useful sources of information.

This will only be a sample of what is available but if anyone has found any others that have been really useful please feel free to contact us using the form on the right and we will add them to the list.

  • For general information on Special Educational Needs, including a wide range of factsheets, refer to the Scout Association website. The factsheets are regularly reviewed with new ones being introduced as needed.
  • A great deal of information on many aspects of special needs is available from the special needs office. For specific help and queries contact them via the Information Centre on 0845 300 1818 or special.needs@scout.org.uk.
  • Factsheet FS250046 lists various resources that can be borrowed and links to other organisations for a wide range of special needs and disabilities.
