The issues arising from reviews, complaints and suspensions can be challenging and potentially involve difficult and uncomfortable conversations. The rules and best practice in these areas has also changed significantly over the last year. The aim of the workshop is to provide all managers (District Commissioners, District Explorer Scout Commissioners and Group Scout Leaders) an update on the changes and the tools and confidence to handle them effectively and confidently.
The workshop will be highly practical, focusing mainly on inter-personal and management skills. There will also be the opportunity to share experiences between participants (in confidence). At the end of the workshop, you will go away with a large number of practical resources to help you implement the ideas covered.
Everyone is welcome, whatever your management experience.
