County Office Manager – Steve Skittrall Retires

Date: 21st Mar 2019 Author: Scout Websites

As he approaches ten years as County Office Manager, Steve Skittrall will be retiring from his position at the end of March. Steve has worked tirelessly on behalf of the County and has been the ‘go to’ person for anyone trying to fathom our administrative intricacies. The assistance and advice he has given during his time as County Office Manager has been invaluable and his knowledge of how the County works will be sorely missed.

Fortunately, we will not be losing him completely, much to the relief of those who rely on his advice and knowledge. Steve is aiming to continue with his other Scouting roles, both at County level as the Adviser for the DofE Award and within his District as DESC. Steve hopes to also spend more of his time visiting his family, travelling and hillwalking.

Please join us in wishing Steve all the best for the future – his last official day in the County Office will be Thursday 28th March. The contact email and telephone number for the County Office remains the same.  admin@hertfordshirescouts.org.uk – 020 8236 0040.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
