Date: 9th – 11th November 2018

Location: Coetmor Mill

This weekend course is aimed at adult leaders/helpers (aged 18+).  It is held at Coetmor Mill, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.  The course is open to all abilities from novice walkers through to those who would like to extend their experience without having to look after any youngsters.  The content of the weekend will be tailored to meet each individual’s need and is based on practical instruction on the hill.  At the end of the weekend you will have increased your knowledge and experience of route planning, safety, party management and hill navigation.  It may also be possible to conduct M permit assessments but I will need to know this when you apply (please email me directly).  We will travel up to the Mill on Friday night, spend Saturday and Sunday on the hill and return on Sunday afternoon arriving in Hertfordshire about 9pm.

This is an informal leaders’ weekend.  No need for uniform.  It will be self-catering – you are expected to provide your own meals and hill food/snacks.  There is the option to go to the Village for a take-away or indeed go to a local pub to eat if you don’t want to cook in.

Feel free to bring some ‘refreshment’ in case we don’t go out to the pub!

Your deposit will pay your accommodation costs all other costs will be shared between car drivers and passengers and any food sharing arrangements.

To book your place please complete the on-line application form (links below) and transfer the required non-returnable deposit.

If you want to discuss your requirements please ring me on the number below.
